CelebrateOne’s First Birthday Bash

CelebrateOne’s First Birthday Bash at COSI is one of Columbus’ happiest nights of the year - a private after-hours celebration that transforms the museum into a magical world for families whose babies are reaching their first birthday.

The night is filled with giggles, frosting-covered smiles, and wide-eyed discovery as hundreds of families fill COSI to honor the milestone that defines our mission: every baby’s first birthday. Through our Policy Summit and Community Policy Workshops, CelebrateOne builds momentum for real systems change. The biennial Summit convenes leaders across Columbus to confront disparities, share data, elevate lived experience, and advance the policies and practices that strengthen maternal and infant health.

In alternating years, CelebrateOne turns outward - offering accessible policy and advocacy trainings that equip residents with the skills and confidence to influence decisions that impact their families. Together, this ongoing cycle keeps families at the center of policy progress in Columbus.
