About the Doula:

Hi, I’m Janelle! With my extensive experience as a mother of two, rigorous birth and postpartum DONA training, Master’s in Health Administration, and training as a health and wellness coach, I offer a unique set of experiences that blend compassionate care, evidence-based knowledge, and whole-person wellness to support women through every stage of their motherhood journey. I offer a unique set of experiences. I'm a birth and postpartum doula, maternal wellness coach, and proud mom of two little ones. I believe every mother and birthing person deserves to feel confident, cared for, and fully supported - physically, emotionally, and mentally - as they bring new life into the world. Through my work and my heart as a mom, I’ve learned that thriving in motherhood takes more than just physical recovery — it’s about nourishment, rest, emotional balance, and rediscovering yourself in this new chapter. My approach is gentle, personalized, and rooted in helping mothers flourish — body, mind, and spirit — as they welcome new life and step into their strongest selves. My approach is gentle, reassuring, and deeply personal. Together, we’ll honor your body, your intuition, and your story as you flourish in your own unique way!

Why are you a Doula? I believe every mother and birthing person deserves to feel confident, cared for, and fully supported - physically, emotionally, and mentally - as they bring new life into the world. As a Black mother of two beautiful children with vastly different birth experiences, I witnessed the power of a Doula's presence in my own births, and it unlocked my life's mission to support expecting families in and through this deeply transformative stage of life.
