Untold Stories: An Untold Story of Motherhood, Choice, and Resilience
Some stories are shaped by the choices we make and the strength it takes to keep going.
In this month’s Untold Story, Jessica Jennings, National Director of Community Impact and Outreach for Community Medical Services, shares her journey into motherhood - one shaped by addiction, adoption, recovery, and reconnection. She reflects on the difficult decision to place her baby for adoption during a period of active substance use, and how healing, family, and a renewed sense of purpose unfolded over time.
Jessica’s story is a powerful reminder that motherhood does not look one way, that people are more than the hardest moments of their lives, and that compassion and support can change the course of a family’s future.
