CelebrateOne’s First Birthday Bash at COSI is an after-hours private celebration bursting with first-birthday magic, joyful giggles, and frosting-covered smiles. For one magical night each year, the entire museum transforms into a world of wonder for families whose babies are turning one - a moment that captures the joy of parenthood and the heart of CelebrateOne’s mission to help every baby in Columbus reach this milestone.

Two children in colorful costumes celebrating a birthday, one dressed as a superhero and the other as Stitch from Lilo & Stitch, sitting in a white high chair decorated with a green number 1, with a backdrop of gold and white balloons.

A toddler wearing a white beanie, navy blue shirt with 'One' written on it, light gray pants, and brown shoes, walking on a carpeted floor. A smiling woman is kneeling behind the toddler, dressed in a white fuzzy sweater with pink accents and dark pants. There are others in the background and the setting appears to be indoors.

Families spend the evening exploring COSI’s hands-on exhibits through the eyes of their little ones - wide with wonder, reaching for bubbles, lights, and colors that dance around them. Giggles echo through the museum as parents capture frosting-covered smiles during professional smash-cake photos and watch their babies discover the world in new ways. Sweet treats, playful activities, and the joyful energy of first-time explorers fill every corner of the museum.

And thanks to CelebrateOne’s partnership with COSI, the first 200 families receive a free one-year COSI Family Membership, extending the joy and learning far beyond this magical night.
